What is the difference between a channel manager and iCal?
An iCal link copies blocked dates between sites on a timer. Airbnb's help page says your Airbnb calendar automatically updates every 3 hours, so a second guest can book nights that are already sold before the next update. A direct connection closes those nights on the other channel as the booking comes in.
What happens if my calendars already clash when I connect?
Zugrow checks as you connect and tells you, for example: “1 booking already overlaps on your calendar. You can connect and sort it after.” The calendar then shows the double booking as needing attention until you sort it.
Do I need to be technical to set it up?
No. Follow four quick steps yourself, or bring your bookings across from your old channel manager with an export file. Nothing on your channels changes until you press Connect.
Can I move from another channel manager?
Yes. Export your bookings from Hostaway, Lodgify, Guesty, Smoobu, Hospitable or another system, and upload the file during setup. Zugrow reads the file and never signs in to your old system.
